Stanly Ranch Wedding, Napa, California

We met and fell in love in New York City! Our paths crossed at work in March 2014 - Amy had just joined the ad agency Marcus was already working at, and during their first team meeting, they became instant best friends (literally, Amy told Marcus that day they were going to be BFFs). There was no denying we had a strong connection; it was obvious to everyone. We built a special bond over months of friendship and fell so deeply in love with each other. Finally, at a concert in March 2015, we were honest about our feelings and how much we wanted to be together. Marcus quit a few months later, and we've been inseparable ever since.

With everyone attending our wedding traveling to Napa (from New York is Southern California primarily) the location of Napa itself and the natural modern design Stanly Ranch will feel unique. The food will be outstanding and the live DJ/Band hybrid will be super entertaining. Our colors and theme lean into the design of Stanly Ranch - natural, modern, yet classic. Our colors are black, white, brown, beige, and greens.

We love melodic house music and indie rock music. We are really into the great outdoors and hiking together, most recently, this past Thanksgiving we hiked Patagonia over a 7-day trek. We've traveled all over the world together, including a 4-month road trip and a 6-week trip to the Middle East & Africa. Our favorite genre of movies to watch together is thrillers and comedies.

A big moment that will always stick out to both of us was when we were attending a Klingande show in March 2015 (our favorite DJ at that time) in NYC together. While dancing during our favorite song, Amy turned to Marcus and asked if he had ever thought about us being a couple and, if so, if it could be "it," and without hesitation, he said 'I do; I think about it a lot actually" After that moment, we both knew that we found soulmates in each other.

An ideal evening for us is enjoying the sunset at a super scenic viewpoint with a bottle of wine, delicious snacks, listening to music, and having deep conversations. We do these scenic picnics all over the world, and on 4.3.21, Marcus proposed at the Grand Canyon!! That night was a perfect balance of being peaceful, romantic, and goofiness. Marcus always loved making travel.
